Hinton Football Club was founded in 1957, after many years in junior soccer they became a senior status club in 2002 when they were elected to the Herts Senior County League after winning the Mid Herts league. Since their election to the County league and a senior status club they have enjoyed success in being immediately promoted to the Premier division and winning the County league's prestigious Aubrey Cup.
The Club presently operates two men's teams teams in the County league and operate an 'open door policy' welcoming all prospective new players.
